Coxy - congratulations on the weight loss, great going. It's all that manual labour you've been doing in the house.Izzy - good to hear that you're feeling better, I hope that the improvement goes on.TA - I agree about Hamza. My first encounter was seeing him on Animal Park this year and (I think) Springwatch.Ruby - I'm sorry to read that you're still under the weather, a sore throat is so annoying.Nelski - Radcliffe and Marconie did lots of tributes this morning to Emmerdale (Farm) and Rainbow programmes which both started on the same day 50 years ago. Very funny! Loved the Rolling Stones 'She's a Rainbow' song.Nan - I hope that the substitute sausages turn out tasty.Taff - you made my mouth water even though I'm not too fond of beef.I've been busy upstairs sorting out things before my friend arrives. Stripped the bed and changed the bedding, mattress will be turned soon. I've managed to donate a duvet to my cleaner which cheered me up enormously as I couldn't bear the thought of it going to landfill. It's surplus to my needs now even though I had it dry-cleaned this Spring. I've also cleared out three bottles of OOD winter medicines - all now emptied, washed and in the recycling bag.The rain has battered itself to death, the sun appeared and the wind dropped. It's still cold but I've opened the front door to let some fresh air in. 😃

It was so hot yesterday and humid felt a little unwell but plenty of water soon revived
We are 6 hours behind but we woke early as DH is listening to his football match
Our resort is lovely and the staff are wonderful
Our suite is more like an apartment ( or condo as the Americans say) We have 3 showers ( one outdoors) and 3 tvs ( there are only 2 of us lol)
We have had some fantastic meals this week and I kept to my promise to at least try different things but still don't like octopus
DH tried chopsticks for the first time the other night and seems to have the knack so very pleased with himself
They have animals here called Cottys a bit like raccoons look cute but wouldn't want one to jump up.on the table as happened to one guest the other night
