Hi I am looking for recommendations for a glass screen protector for my S22+
In the past i have used Gorilla tech gorilla glass and Orzly glass screen protectors on different phones and both worked great and also done there job as i have a Spinal cord injury and i can drop things with out warning.
I have been told about the JETch Screen protector but it seems i there is issues with the finger print scanner not working in the Amazon reviews
Can anyone recommend a glass screen protector that they use?
I dont fancy one of those fancy ones where you cure the glue
Thanks

You are best off using protector films rather than tempered glass-style protectors if you want your fingerprint scanner to work reliably and don't want one that uses a liquid to bond the protector.
They protect against scratches but won't be as strong when it comes to protecting the phone from a drop.
You can enable face recognition on the S22+ for unlocking instead, you won't be able to use it in apps such as your banking app but that might allow you to use a touch screen protector without complete inconvenience.

What I don't understand is why the fingerprint scanner doesn't work.
I've never had a problem with my other phones and they had glass protectors on them.

Samsung S7 and OnePlus 7
Was going to get the OnePlus 10 pro but reviews lately of OP are rubbish and the OP 10 snapping at the camera are good either.
So back to Samsung again 😸

Yes, so both those phones use an optical fingerprint scanner.
The S22+ ultrasonic scanner is supposed to be better as it can map a 3d image of the fingerprint, but anything that comes in between will reduce the sensitivity and affect the 3d mapping.
I've not used a fingerprint sensor for years though, Apple has moved away from them in favour of FaceID which is more convenient and will allow you to use a tempered glass screen protector.
I use the JETech ones that you mentioned and like them.1 -
Thank you for your help.
I will get the JETech screen protector
For the sake of screen protection over a fingerprint scanner I will go for protection.
