0% transfer with existing balance

Hi

I have a MBNA credit card, which has a current balance which is on 0% APR (I can't remember exactly when this ends).

I have just transferred another balance to this under a 0% balance transfer.

I just wondered what happens when the first 0% ends? Are they treated as different balances? Can you opt to pay off the earlier ending balance first?

Thanks

They will be treated as different balances yes, normally that first balance will revert to the standard apr of the card. Mbna allocate your payments to the highest interest balances first
