I'm moving home in November. Is there any benefit or detriment to switching energy suppliers? I'm going from gas/electric to only electric property. Current supplier is Shelll.
Thanks

If you are going to electric only, it is likely you have (or will need) an economy 7 tariff.
The split between day & night rates is different for each supplier so it may well be worth switching.
Of course you will need to set up an account with whomever supplies the new property already before you can switch away.1
