Energy refunds
Hi all
Today I asked SOENERGY for a refund of £200 from my credit balance of £435. Their email response was for the sum of £139. Having read their policy I decided to call them. I checked if cancelling my DIRECT DEBIT method and changing to monthly DEBIT CARD payments would be more expensive. MONTHLY BILLING WITHOUT DiRECT DEBIT IS NOT MORE EXPENSIVE!
So I changed method.
They will use my credit balance until it is zero then I must begin to make payments by DEBIT CARD..

It would be for most people.0 -
as sparky grad has said. so energy have a policy of not charging more for people who pay by variable dd or debit card each month. it says so in the policys on their website.

but if someone is not with so energy then they need to check the policy of their energy supplier as many offer a discount if you pay by dd (some include variable dd in this and some only discount for annual dd) so anyone paying by card every month will pay a higher rate.Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes, including you. It's amazing how those with a can-do attitude and willingness to 'pitch in and work' get all the luck, isn't it?
Please consider buying some pet food and giving it to your local food bank collection or animal charity. Animals aren't to blame for the cost of living crisis.0 -

I'm also with So Energy.I always understood that they required your payment a month in advance, like many other of the smaller companies. But presumably you will pay by debit card after you get your bill?0
