Flipping freezer door opening

Hi All,
I have just had a new fridge freezer delivered and the opening for the bottom half (freezer) is a bit tight so I'm thinking of switching the opening.
I have 2 questions:
1) Is it ok to just flip the opening of the freezer and not the fridge? I know it will be odd having one each way but so be it.
2) I am a DIY novice, is it a simply thing to do yourself? I know it can be done.
Thanks

Is it built-in or free-standing? If free-standing it is usually straightforward to swap the opening, you will need the installation manual for it. If built-in, again do-able but obviously slightly more complicated.
Kind Regards,

How easy it would be depends on whether the bottom hinge pin for the fridge door is integrated with or separate to the top hinge pin for the freezer door (assuming the freezer is at the bottom). Just looked at our Beko and the hinge pins are combined in one casting which would mean you couldn't have doors that opened in different directions without some serious bodging.1

The instructions that came with it should tell you how to swap the opening direction. I doubt whether you could change one and not the other for reasons given above.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0
