power bank issues

Hi !
I bought power bank which you can connect with 4 usb. I bought it as I have heated top and bottoms and each has usb cabel, I thought I will get one power bank so I dont have to walk about with 2 in the pockets. It doesnt work. It only seems to work when one usb is connected to it, when I connect both its doesnt . Is this normal?

Without knowing the details of the powerbank any advice will be a guess. Mine is that the items are trying to drawer more power than it can supply. Most powerbanks are designed to charge mobiles etc not power heating elements.

I'm guessing it's something like this,

9000000mAh LCD Portable Power Bank 4USB Charger Battery Pack for Mobile Phone UK | eBay

    Specifications:

    • Capacity:  9000000mAh
    • Battery Type: Polymer Battery
    • Input Voltage: DC 5V +/- 0.05
    • Output Voltage: DC 5V +/- 0.05
    • Output Current: 2.1A/1A
    • Input charging time: 5-9 hours
    • Dimensions: (Approx) 166*82*22mm
I'm not an expert but I'm guessing the output is too low to power your items.

I would be nervous about using any battery pack with such an over exaggerated power rating.
The powerbank is definitely not 9000000mAh.

9000000mAh (lots of zeros there) is 9,000,000mAh.
It is at best a 20,000mAh or possibly a 10,000mAh battery.
Or over stated by a factor of 450 - 900x.

A 9,000,000mAh battery would be 9000Ah. At the standard 3.7v (used by lithium batteries) would be 33300Wh, or 33kWh.
About the same total power a house uses, over 4 days.

Or, to put another way, would take around 9000 hours to charge (at standard 1A), or provide continual running at 1A for over a year!

    Beware.

Put that piece of junk in the bin alongside its made up specifications and buy a decent quality one.
Anker is probably the best choice of brand for power banks. Only buy from a trusted source or the Anker store. Not Amazon marketplace or ebay.

Yhanks @outtatune ... Anker is my preferred brand also. Do you think there is actually a powerbank suitable for running both of the OP's items?
