Morning all
Dry here but rain due later, wm is on but it will have to go on the airer. I am off to get my chin done this morning, there are very few hairs left now so the treatment is working, I think I can get away with 8 weeks between apointments now, hopefully they will soon be gone forever ! although ive been told that new ones may spring up.
Will walk the dogs when I get back and then have a rest this afternoon, dd is taking mum to the hospital for an appointment at lunch time, mum loves spending time with dd so im sure they will go somewhere afterwards.
I got told yesterday that I have to give the moany one 28 days noticeso it looks like I will have to see her again, Im not having her next Monday though so thats something.
Not sure about dinner tonight but there is lots in so will decide later.
Scarlet have a good break xxx
Have good days all xx7 -
Morning all, earlier was grey & dull but the sun is out again after a lovely day yesterday. DH & DS1 have gone to the storage unit we have on a farm near where we used to live - it needs a good clear out, you can't get to the upstairs bit for tools and machines. DH wants to try & sell some of the ones no longer needed to make space & organise better, then I can get upstairs and clear stuff dumped there when we had to rent for a few months before we finished this house & moved in. We obviously haven't used or needed whatever is up there in 7 years so action needed! A skip was delivered yesterday. The fibre broadband people seem very efficient, a nice neat channel was cut in the pavement. Unfortunately some of the rubble went on the road & when they put a road sweeper on it seems to have blown the silt down the drainage holes in front of the cottages that were put in after the 'great flood of 2015'. Dh spotted that they were all blocked - luckily before they went home & spoke to a man who got on his phone to arrange someone to sort it out first thing today, which has now been done, phew. They had no idea of what went on back then & were very apologetic. DDog hid in DS room all day, she hates noisy trucks and men in high vis. She's been the same ever since then when the road collapsed due to the flood and we had to drag her through the water in the house. Goodness, sorry to go on
! but it kinda brought it all back with the big wagons outside drilling etc.
I watched the NTV awards, & well done Martin.Quick tea last night, pizza for the men, leftover meatballs for me with veg. I've got some chicken out for later as we have to get DGD from school & will be later back so need something relatively speedy. Have a good day all x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)8
