Valuations on investments

I asked a question recently regarding some investment bonds that I have.
There was a significant drop in the valuation. One that had been £51,000 over a year ago was £41,300. This was around 3-4 weeks ago.
I reckon with what has been happening in the past 2-3 weeks the valuation will have fallen further. I am too scared to ask for a further valuation..Is my thinking correct. I have got around £140,000 in 3 bonds plus a fairly.small amount in a Stocks and Shares ISA.
I don't need any of the money in the foreseeable future. I am concerned that these funds could be wiped out..I would like to think that there would be some money as well as my flat to leave for my family.
I have enough income to more than meet my needs for now..
I would appreciate some thoughts on my situation.
