Not unless the garage are awkward about having it collected and want to charge storage or something- is that £60 what is left over from the price for the work they have done and the towing fee (so they are taking the fees owed already out of the offer price), or has the towing fee & inspection fee already been paid?If there is no other damage I'd still be considering repair, obviously that garage don't want to do it, so it would have to be transported elsewhere though.I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

A car can be a write off not a right off. But you can go right off some garages

He had breakdown cover that took it to the nearest garage, and not related to that garage. No work has been done.facade said:Not unless the garage are awkward about having it collected and want to charge storage or something- is that £60 what is left over from the price for the work they have done and the towing fee (so they are taking the fees owed already out of the offer price), or has the towing fee & inspection fee already been paid?
If it is repairable then the garage would make more by buying for it £60, doing the work then flogging it, than just charging for the repair. So want to find out if they just treated him like a mug punter.facade said:If there is no other damage I'd still be considering repair, obviously that garage don't want to do it, so it would have to be transported elsewhere though.
