DD help
Sorry if this has been explained somewhere,
I've been with British gas since my supplier went under , my most recent DD was £150 a month with an estimated yearly usuage to be about £1600 for the year. They emailed me a couple weeks ago to say that with the price increase they estimate my yearly ussage to be £2037, so I'm expecting my DD to be around £169 a month. My DD.has now gone to £266 a month, I've tried to phone/live chat but I can't get through to anyone.
Does that sound right ? £266 a month would make that £3192 for the year. Am i misunderstanding something ? Also my latest bill has had £66 taken off for government help , and £66 added back on for "outgoing payments. Not sure what that is . Currently £300 in credit as it stands .

With British Gas you will get the £66 credited back to your account. So if they take £266 they will then credit £66 back meaning you will actually pay £200 in the month, but for a number of days you may be £66 worse or better off.0
