Ebay in US$ not £

When creating or editing listings, does anyone else have the currency appear as US$ rather than £'s?
When I actually list the item it does show as £'s but it gets confusing as I worry I'lllist items too low (not that there is much of a difference in currency these days).
May you find your sister soon Helli.

On ebay uk i never, ever, get/see prices in dollars.
Annoyingly, when doing a search for ebay the 1st result is always ebay.com.0 -

This is just where you enter the price on a listing. Other than that one screen price is shown correctly in pounds everywhere else.1 -
Hi, prices normally come up as dollars when sellers are based in the US and are willing to send to the UK - and if there aren't any available sellers in the UK.
Sometimes items can pop up in Australian dollars too.
When I want to look at eBay UK (where I am) I just click on my shortcut on my computer - it's also on my phone app. The UK version only pops up for me because that's the way I've listed it but sometimes prices can still be in US dollars.
That's when you also have to check the posting dates and the price of postage. Most prices from the US are prohibitive anyway. And posting times can be far too long.
When you logon to your own UK eBay account, everything should be aimed at UK consumers. Unless no items are available in the UK.
Instead of googling just 'eBay', you have to google 'eBay UK'.
Otherwise the most googled, most popular listing will pop up, and that's eBay.comPlease note - taken from the Forum Rules and amended for my own personal use (with thanks) : It is up to you to investigate, check, double-check and check yet again before you make any decisions or take any action based on any information you glean from any of my posts.
