Santander - blocked INCOMING payment ??

Sorry about the flurry of posts recently but moving funds around .....
Has anyone experienced Santander (or anyone else ....) blocking INCOMING payments for fraud checks?
Withdrew my next tranche of funds from Shawbrook yesterday. They have confirmed funds have left them.
First I am aware that Shawbrook Ts and Cs state money will arrive by midnight following day, HOWEVER every interest payment, withdrawal etc I have ever had from them has always arrived by 14:00 hrs ....
Been logging into my Santander online banking at intervals all day, suddenly at around the time I would expect funds to arrive (about 13:45.... )Santander wanted me to authorise the login on my phone before it would let me log in ..... it has NEVER done this to me before !
Money still not there ......
I realise I will have to wait for the midnight deadline before chasing, but ......
Any comments gratefully received as usual.

What is your rationale for thinking Santander are blocking the incoming payment?
That's a recent addition to their 2-factor authentication. I got that too. Not related to your outstanding Shawbrook deposit.steveksullivan said:Been logging into my Santander online banking at intervals all day, suddenly at around the time I would expect funds to arrive (about 13:45.... )Santander wanted me to authorise the login on my phone before it would let me log in ..... it has NEVER done this to me before !1 -

Is the amount of money quite large, More than £10,000 (say) ?2. Is this the first time you transferred money from Shaw-brook to Santander before ?If the answer to both questions is yes, then it is normal it takes times before you could see it on your Santander AC.I have been transferring money from different accounts to Santander, it arrives like a lightning speed. But of course it will also depending on the bank you are using to send money.

OK ..... this time (so far....) Santander are in the clear. My suspicions were pointed towards them coloured by recent experiences.....However ....This morning funds had still not arrived .... Called Santander at 8:15 and they confirmed nothing receivedCalled Shawbrook at 09:00 and they confirmed they had found the funds but due to a 'technical error' they had not been sent (despite the previous reassurances on TWO phone calls that they had ....Hopefully money will come through today .....0

Just to be clear, are you sending direct from Shawbrook to Santander?

Fortunately the money came through as expected .... a day late.Minor compensation offered to compensate for loss of interest but nothing to compensate for time on phone calls chasing ....or the, clearly incorrect, information (given twice in two phone calls )t hat the money had DEFINITELY left Shawbrook. On this occasion due to the large sum involved I was just happy the money finally came through so accepted it!It was also VERY clear from wording in the conversation that someone at Shawbrook (or whoever they use to make the payments) had forgotten to 'press a button' ........0
