CCTV cameras - indoor for garden/driveway view

We used a cheap Chinese camera for recent dog acquisition but looking for something we can stick on 2x indoor windowsills for view of driveway/back garden that can be viewable/controlled from phone and gives a record facility ? Struggling on Amazon with descriptions/features but anyone any recommendations

Bit late now as the Amazon Prime sales have ended but you could get a Blink indoor camera with Synch module which will allow local recording. Using a camera inside to monitor outside movement isn't the way to go though so if you want proper security and movement triggering then you need to install an outdoor camera.

We've got a couple of these, one in the front and one at the back of the house together with a non-pan/tilt that looks surveys's the drive. Easy to set up, usues the same Tapo app as our smart sockets and we can check the cameras or recordings whenever we are. The P/T camera is around £25 and the fixed is around £23. TAPO also have an external camera

Agree with the above about installing outdoors. Cameras behind a window suffer from reflections, false triggers and more importantly not triggering at all when you need them as IR movement detection doesn't work very well.

I've got ring mains powered outdoor floodlight cameras, absolutely faultless for picking up the dog, reliable and easy to use.

The downside is they are expensive and require a subscription if you want to store footage but I personally think it has been well worth it for me.
