LV Home insurance query

Hi all,
Have received a letter advising LV is taking over my home insurance and looks as if I'll be moved to LV Gold home insurance, subject to me accepting there quote, however when checking LV's website, I can only find Home and Home plus insurance, any ideas where I found out more about the LV Gold home insurance?

Thanks

Kev

Who are you currently insured with? Did you buy it direct or via an intermediary?

Insurers dont always sell the same products direct to customers as they do via other channels. A google search shows up one or two intermediaries talking of an LV= Gold Home Policy but they are links to a PDF and have no idea if its current or well out of date.

You should receive details of the policy along with the quote when its time.

Thanks, I'll wait till I get the renewal, just thought someone maybe familiar with it on here was all, I'll wait till I get the quote and see if it contains any more details.

    Thanks

The risk is that you can be talking at cross purposes, products often have a marketing named a technical name and sometime marketing use the same name for different technical products. If you look at Hiscox their policy is simply called "home insurance" but if you buy it directly you get the 505 policy but via brokers its the 606 and there are notable differences between the two.

Someone may come on here saying they have something called LV= Gold but it may not be the same thing you will be offered.

Thanks @DullGreyGuy, I'll hopefully know more when I get the quote through, probably next month.
