Does anyone know how long they take to send money to your bank account when requested.i have only made deposits never with drawn with them

I can tell you that I requested a transfer today at about 10am and it was in my Lloyds account at about 1530.

It tells you that being an electronic transaction it should be in your receiving account 'today' - but note if after 2:00 pm when you make the w/d it'll be cop next working day.

Thanks for the replies. It is the gatehouse easy access account i have.i have open the santander account like most people whwn i have requested from aton and zopa apart from £1 left with them to keep accounts open . It has been instant.just gatehouse still not sent . Will call later if still not sent this afternoon.

Just have to ask if you have set up your nominated account and had it confirmed by Gatehouse. I'm not sure because you say you've never withdrawn any money yet so that could be an issue ??

Thanks for all who took time to advise. I see i must have missed there cut of time yesterday. I requested transfer about 4.20pm when i looked in my first direct account today about 12.30pm it was there.

In papers today......Gatehouse fined £1.5m by FCA for failings in its anti money laundering checks.
