Hello,
We've just got a Hotpoint FEW12 1200 rpm washing machine (via a clearance auction) but it's missing the instructions - does anyone have this model and the instructions? Would you be able to give me the rundown on its workings or might some kind soul perhaps be able to scan it and email to me?
Thanks in advance!

Hi Edinburghlass
It was £120 ish for the machine plus a £30 delivery charge. I'm told (haven't checked) that they retail for around £250 so I'm pretty pleased with that. I used the Comet auction site where they regularly sell off stuff which has either been out and returned or may just have cosmetic damage. This one only has a couple of dents/scratches which are hardly noticeable. Comet still give you the standard 1 yr warranty and if you buy with a Nationwide credit card, I think you can extend that warranty by a further year (although I need to check with Nationwide whether they class this as a "new" product. The site is well worth a look they have all sorts of equipment up for auction - can't recall the exact web address, think it's just https://www.comet.co.uk and then look for the online auctions bit. All the ts and cs are there.

You can download free many instruction and installation manuals including Electrolux, AEG, Zanussi, Parkinson Cowan and Tricity Bendix here:
http://www.serviceforce.co.uk/pdf_search.asp
They cover most of the appliances by these manufacturers, but not sure how recent they are, although I bought a new AEG washer/drier last year and the instruction and installation manuals for that were on the site.0 -
Thanks for that pointer travel_freak, I'll keep an eye on that section of Comet's website.0

Thanks Baz-Bee
I've got the manual now, but I'll keep a note of the site you recommend in case I ever need another manual for something else in the future.
