It's a service called "safeplace" which has to be bought from the Royal Mail by the supplier.
If they have this service you can propose a designated neighbour or a "safeplace", the supplier puts the details on the address label. The card is then left to let you know where your parcel is. There are more details on the Royal Mail website.0 -
