Why does everyone talk in acronyms and gobbledegook when talking about parking tickets?
Are they all in the military or the railway industry?

Acronyms and abbreviations common to this parking forum are explained in the fifth post of the sticky Announcement for NEWBIES that asks all posters to read it first.
They are used to save us typing out long hand The Protection of Freedoms Act, The Equalities Act, Parking Charge Notice, Notice to Driver, Notice to Keeper, County Court Business Centre, Witness Statement, Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, and many, many more when we try to help the hundred or so posters who come here every day for help.
I have no idea what AOAPCP means. If you are going to use acronyms and abbreviations, will you please provide a key like the one in the NEWBIES Announcement?I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

See, it's pointless and no-one has the time or inclination to go hunting on random threads for acronyms.0 -
How much time do you think regulars on this forum have? We are all volunteers doing this in our own time. We are dealing with at least one hundred posts a day - 24/7/365!ColdPensioner said:

Do you have a parking problem? If not, why are you here? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Random threads? Why are you looking at random threads instead of following the advice and guidance on specific threads aimed at motorists with a parking problem.
The regulars have the time and the inclination to help anyone and everyone who comes here asking for help.
The vast majority of people who come here asking for help have the time and inclination to read the threads they are pointed to because it is in their interest to do so.
This belies your comment that no-one has time to do this.
Sticky Announcements are "stuck" to the top of every forum on this most excellent website. There are several Announcements stuck to the top of this parking forum. One of them asks everyone to read it first. It's at the top.
It's always at the top no matter what day, year, or time you come here.
It isn't random.

If you think the format of this forum could be improved, perhaps you should do the same.
If you have received an unfair parking charge notice from an unregulated private parking company, then please read the sticky Announcement for NEWBIES then ask specific questions if you need further help.
If not, please explain the point of your thread.
