Pension service has been in melt down all year. There are huge delays for all claims. See if your MP can help.

I contacted my MP after I had not heard about my claim for months.  He responded quickly and contacted the DWP but he advised me that the minimum wait for them to respond to MPs is 6 weeks.  

I did hear immediately after that 6 weeks.

Many thanks for all the help. We received a phone call just before Xmas and 2 hours later had a positive claim backdated. Don't give up. Know your rights.
