I have had 2 sets of Venetian blinds from 24/7 blinds and they have been very good
Where as I have 2 blinds from the same company. Just after a year after I purchased them the string that pulls them up and down snapped on both sets.
I put in a complaint and they didn't want to know... Disappointing as they cost £200 each.
For that reason alone I wouldn't recommend to anyone
  • Have you tried local

I found local stores very expensive and went with Dunelm for the whole house. The came and did all the fitting as well. Service and communication were excellent throughout.
  • Dunelm are very good we also have a local company NU Blinds they make the blinds and fit them very cheap

Any one tried blinds to go for electric blinds.

I haven't @Jasonsmith13 but have wondered about getting them from there. I'm keen to know if anyone has tried them! I like the sound of going local, as per your response above :-)

Yes! We love them. They work well through the app on our phones and also with the remote they supply. The battery in the motor needs charging once or twice a year, which means having a socket or extension lead long enough for the wire to reach the blind. The app will tell you when it needs charging, haven’t needed to do this yet. It’s completely programmable, so you can set opening and closing times etc. Looks tidier than having cords hanging down and great for hard to reach blinds.
