  • Sorry - not familiar with the correct terminology - yes, that's correct. 15 mins later unit showed an orange light and was asking for a CIN.

Have you looked at the communications hub as I suggested?

  • I've installed the Bright app and am waiting for completion of the set up.  My meter was compatible.  The communication hub is in an outside box that I wont be able to check until tomorrow.  Thanks again for the advice.
  • Hub LED flash rate both in normal state.

OK. If BRIGHT starts to populate with data then there isn’t an issue with your smart meters. If no data is forthcoming then I suggest that you contact BRIGHT and seek their advice. Hildebrand are very helpful, and they are aware of ongoing firmware issues with comms hubs and meters. Their Adapter software can access your smart meter details and the firmware versions for the meters and the comms hub.

  • Many thanks.  Bright is showing that there's no tariff linked to the electric so it cant provide data.  It has a tariff showing for gas but its definitely not current and I suspect will dare back to pre-switch.

It sounds like the supplier hasn’t taken over the meters properly. They need to send out bespoke security certificates to each meter and the tariff information. The ‘good news’ is that the comms hub appears to be connected to the DCC Network.
  • Thanks. I'll try contacting them again with that information.

If I've read correctly, your current supplier is Outfox the Market. You can certainly ask them but I would be surprised if they do anything.
