Parking Eye PCN to Wrong Address

Not quite the typical scenario this, as far as I can see...

I've just been handed a Parking Eye PCN by my next door neighbour with an apology for opening my mail.  On closer inspection, it wasn't incorrectly delivered - Parking Eye have somehow got the address wrong, despite it being correct on my V5.  The charge itself relates to a stay in a hotel that I'm 99% sure I registered the car at, which I'm following up with the hotel, but I just wondered where I stand with them sending the PCN to the wrong address, if it comes down to it.  I'm out of time for the 'discounted' fine, as it's taken until over a month after the date of issue for the PCN to find its way to me...

Complain to the Hotel and they can cancel this for you this week.

Complain to ParkingEye that they sent the NTK to the wrong address:

    info@parkingeye.co.uk

Tell them you've complained to the Hotel and will escalate it to the BPA as well, if this is not cancelled.

My only issue is that I can't be absolutely sure that I correctly registered the car at the hotel.  I left the car first thing in the morning, which is when I registered it on their machine, but I can't remember what I did with the check-in paperwork later in the day as I was *ahem* slightly tired and emotional. ;)

Does that not make any difference from the wrong address point of view?

Doesn't matter.   What you'd be saying to the Hotel is that the system shouldn't place such an onerous burden on guests (to register their car or be fined) and you feel angry, can't even appeal due to PE getting your address wrong, and will never use their Hotel again if this isn't cancelled immediately.

    They will.
