Question: What's the closest planet to Earth?
I'm not sure whether they want Venus or Mercury. Venus' orbit comes closest, so probably that, but apparently Mercury is closer on average. Up to you which one you choose!

Mercury "on average" based on the fact that a lot of the time Mercury is on the same side of the sun as Earth when Venus is on the opposite side, so at that point in time Mercury is a lesser distance from Earth than Venus. However, if you base the question on which planet 'comes closest' to Earth, that will be Venus.10
