When were the 30 days from and to?
When were the documents requested?0 -
1st September was when the application was processed and we paid out product fee. I have an email that states the mortgage was being processed on that date.sheramber said:When were the 30 days from and to?

Documents were requested shortly after that and then supplied0 -
That is really strange that in 30 days there were no prompt or warning to upload the documents.
The L&C brokers are likely swamped with cases and does not help that rates are constantly changing and increasing.
Hopefully this can be resolved but rates are now very different.0 -
I'm very sorry to hear of your plight. Two documents I provided to L&C back in August were not passed to the lender. Several times I've checked the L&C portal and found either a message or document request, that I haven't had an email notification for. Their back office processing is a shambles and has jeopardised our application, but we're stuck with them.
I have two open formal complaints with them. The earliest of my two complaints has now been open for 6 weeks, so far all I've had is generic acknowledgements that it's being handled, so don't expect a quick resolution.
I'm sorry I can't give you any advice, you have my sympathy and I very much hope you get redress, although that won't make up for the stress and disruption to your family.

I second what tripled says above about the lack of email notifications from their online portal. I uploaded documents to the L&C portal then sat back and waited. When I heard nothing back for a week I logged in and discovered that my proof of deposit documents were marked 'rejected' with no reason given. I then emailed my case manager but got no replies for days so I called and found out that this chap was away.
During the mortgage application process I emailed and called multiple times because communication from their side was so sparse (I'm being polite). Direct questions were ignored and I had to chase them up for answers on many occasions.
They asked for feedback once the mortgage completed and I gave them an honest and fair evaluation leaving all emotion out of it: let's just say I won't use them again."The problem with Internet quotes is that you can't always depend on their accuracy" - Abraham Lincoln, 18641
