Issue with Barclays Rainy Day Account

I opened a current account about a week ago.
I've received all the info I need except for the Debit Card PIN, which I need to use the App.
So I using the online website at the moment.
I now have 3 accounts listed:
My current account, which has a balance of 5.1k which I sent from my Virgin bank account.
My rainy day saver. No balance.
My Blue Rewards. No balance.
I'm trying to transfer 5k from the current to the rainy day account, but it's saying the rainy day account is the only account I can sent money from, and that I have no other account that allows transfers to another account.
I'm baffled that I can't find a way to transfer from the current to the rainy day account.
Any ideas?

Sounds more like "Issue with Barclays Current Account" than "Issue with Barclays Rainy Day Account"?
Not sure anyone on here will be able to resolve this, but if you don't yet have the debit card PIN it may be that the newly-opened current account is still being set up (or could even have been stopped) so you'll probably need to contact Barclays.0 -
I am in a very similar position to you. The one difference is that I paid some money directly into the Rainy day saver. I would not have expected anything in the Blue Rewards account as I haven't earned any as yet. Once I have my PIN I hope to be able to access the money in my Barclays current account.RolandFlagg said:I opened a current account about a week ago.

Some one on another thread said that the Barclays app said that 4 working days were required for security checks for the account to become fully active.
And finally I cannot return my specimen signature are they didn't send me a prepaid return envelope. I phoned but they had a 30 minute wait suggesting I use chat on the app. Unfortunately I need my PIN to register for the app.

All this very much appears (to me at least) to suggest that Barclays have become yet another savings provider to launch a market-leading (in interest rate terms) savings account without being anywhere near fully prepared administratively for the very high number of new customers that unsurprisingly wish to deposit money in said savings account!1

Can you use telephone banking or a branch to do this?0

I had similar and managed to get through on the phone. Was advised to send the form back to the address on the letterhead (Leicester) or to visit a branch. I went to a branch and they had their own paper forms which I filled in there and then.RG2015 said:

You can use the app to retrieve the debit card PIN. As well as all the other details of the debit card.
That's what I've done, despite not having received the debit card yetI consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?0 -
Okay, I have my card PIN and the app on iPad and android have full functionality.
However the online site still has very limited functionality for the Barclays Current account.
Strangely the Rainy Day saver has full functionality online including payments out to external accounts.0
