I haven't managed to post for a few days due to work, looking after grandchildren etc, but managed some useful things today:Dog walk first thingWent to an outdoor market / boot sale thing, found some things suitable for my sales unit. All purchases etc noted in records.Did a bit in the garden - repotted my little fig tree, planted more 'found' bulbs in the new bed, replanted a pot in the front garden using plants I already have, put some more things away, found the pot feet to prevent the more important big pots (ie the ones with blueberries, the fig etc in) from getting waterlogged during the winter, spread the rest of the wheelbarrowful of compost that OH had dug out.Made a chilli in my new SC / multicooker after lunch. First time I have used it, impressed so farMade a batch of scones, mainly to use up horrid low fat yogurt (yogurt instead of milk makes amazing scones, and it doesn't matter if it is a bit old either)Used smoked haddock that had been in the freezer for ages, HG spinach (ditto) and HG cherry tomatoes now ripening in baskets on the worktop, plus some other bits and pieces to make a lovely smoked haddock gratin. The recipe is on the BBC Good Food web site if anyone is interested. It was yummy, and there is plenty left for another meal - there are only 2 of us now.Noticed that yesterday's visitors had left us short of bread, so I have put a loaf in the BM. Still using bulk bought lockdown flour, there were no 'ordinary' sized bags available, but I managed to get a huge bag from a local wholesaler. Almost at the end of it now - it has kept beautifully in a sealed container in the larder.0
