Hi All,
Some years ago I asked a company to install solar panels, when there free installation, on my shared ownership house, they explained they could not as housing associations don not allow it, I have emailed my Housing association several times over the years and never received a reply. Have any of you guys managed to have them fitted?

You could try emailing them to say you've got an installation booked for next month, and if they have any objections they should contact you before then.See if that gets a reply!N. Hampshire, he/him. Octopus Intelligent Go elec & Tracker gas / Vodafone BB / iD mobile. Ripple Kirk Hill member.

The objections from Housing Associations to the 'free' solar installations were mostly to do with the lease component of the rent-a-roof schemes, and frankly they were right to be concerned. Are you now trying to get agreement to pay for a solar installation, or has someone offered you a 'free' installation again?0
