Scottish power - incorrect bill

Unable to get through to Scottish Power by phone today and even the Chat Bot is too busy! A recorded message asked for my details and then said it was too busy to answer my call.
My gas bill is showing an estimated reading but my electricity bill is showing that it has an actual reading. However, this is incorrect as the actual reading it is showing is the same as the actual reading on the January bill, meaning that any usage after January will now be charged at the new rate.
The total credit on my electricity account comes to over £1000, but my direct debit is increasing from £246 to £322. I know I was supposed to ring in with my actual readings, but the reading shown online was in line with my usage until they amended it a few days later to show an 'actual' reading

Well, the bill would get changed but how much will my payments be? I'd rather speak to someone and arrange a refund and/or amended payments.

Your payments will still be based on annual usage and future unit price. That won’t be changing. It might even go up if the annual usage gets revised upwards based on your new readings.
Get used to giving and checking readings regularly - at least monthly is probably best.0 -
