    I have made a complaint to Virgin Money, using two email addresses -
    customerrelations@virginmoney.com
    customer.assist@virginmoney.com

    I have received a couple of emails from customer relations. 
    The second one has addressed me as Mr Platt! Needless to say, not my surname!

    The answer I'm trying to get out of them is why interest has not been credited to my account in respect of a bond that became active on the 4th October, when their information, as far as I can see, indicates interest should be credited on the 7th of each month.

    I'm finding them quite pathetic, really.
    I imagine they'll say that it is was too close to the 7th for the interest payment to be made (i.e. for your details to be added to the internal processes that work out and pay any interest) and that it will be added to next month's payment.

    Yes, I think you're right. But, probably because I think I may be a tad OCD and obsessive, I wanted them to confirm they had taken this course of action.

    Are you sure you opted for monthly interest payment?

    Are you sure you opted for monthly interest payment?
    Confirmation letter received from them states "Interest will be paid monthly on 7th of each month", so "yes" is the answer to your question.
