Can you put a fridge on a set of drawers / table?

I don't need a large fridge, but can't crouch/stoop/bend/crawl to use a standard under-counter fridge. I'm wondering if I could buy an under-counter size fridge, but have it put on top of a table or perhaps a solid set of drawers (e.g. pedestal). Any reasons this can't be done, or anything to be careful of? Many thanks

Fridges can "walk" as the door is opened & closed. So if putting it on top of a piece of furniture, it would be advisable to put a lip round the top. Aside from that, no reason why a fridge can't be raised off the ground - You can even buy small countertop fridges.

Remember that the measurements of a fridge don't always include the rear protrusions like the cable attached and room for the plug when looking at the size of the drawera that will support it

Could be useful having drawers under for food containers and such handy.

It might become a bit top heavy if on table, can you made room on your worktops for fridge?
Anti slip castor cups should help to reduce movement.

Getting to better height will make things easier as it can be a bit of a nuisance seeing what is at the back of shelves in a under counter.

My fridge has a foot under the door. If the door is heavily laden, it can be heavy enough to tilt the fridge.
Your table-top fridge should be restrained (chained to the wall at the top).
Free-standing cookers with drop-down doors are restrained in this way.
