i recently took out an AMEX gold when the introductory offer was boosted by 10000 points to 30000 on a 3K spend in first 90 days of membership.

Paying for a summer holiday i achieved this.

I am now reminded by AMEX that if i refer someone and they are accepted be both get a reward in the form of extra points.

My question is have any of you guys or girls managed to get the referrals now the board has been removed from MSE.

If so i would welcome some help as planning a long-haul trip next year and using AVIOS would certainly help out

Yes, referred several friends, family and colleagues... back in the day when they only needed to be 6 months since they last had an MR card, some of them multiple times.

Advertising your referral code to strangers was always against the T&Cs but AmEx seems to turn a blind eye to those that do,
