New listing page

Options
I have spent ages trying to list something on the New listing page when previously I could do it in a few minutes.
Is there any way of getting the old listing page back?

Why do ebay constantly change things when they are perfectly fine as they are?

I've only done a few from scratch and found the new page okay, I mostly list from templates I've created which is much quicker all round, old page or new.

Appreciate that won't suit everyone though.
  • I've also found it OK, since I was just relisting items mostly.
I never start a new listing from scratch, I find something from my sold or active items and use the 'sell similar' option. I then use that as a template - change the category and all the details etc and then list!

Yes, I do it that way too but for some reason it wouldn't let me do it and kept giving me other people's templates to choose from.
I managed it in the end and think it will be easier next time.

Just one thing I was unsure about - it asks you to tick payment option and I ticked "pay emediately ebay managed payments" but should I tick the PayPal option too?

  • I hate it......I've told them that but it's not gonna make any difference.
I'm using other platforms than EBay now.

I've always liked the American saying "If it ain't broke don't fix it". It seems like there are a million web developers at ebay sitting around looking for something to do. They generally make things a bit worse and then leave a feedback section to point out their mistakes. This is exactly the opposite of what software professionals do when they desgin software for a company in my experience.
