Ryanair Flight Change

Ryanair has changed my flight departure from 11:25AM to 6:50AM and I will be unable to make the new flight time. I realised this as I looked on the app and hadn't received an email. I got in contact with Ryanair who advised I need to wait until I receive the email to get in contact.

I have looked at the T&C's which stated that the flight change needs to be at least 5 hours to get a refund. My flight change it 4 hour 35. Will I not be eligible to anything? Where do I stand with this?

  • Unfortunately legally they can change the time by this much and there isn't much you can do about it. You could ask them to put you on a different flight or for a refund, but they aren't obliged to do anything.

Because I need to travel to the airport on public transport and it's not possible at that time in the morning. Big difference when you rely on public transport and a taxi is too expensive for me

Ryanair are not liable for any expenses directly or indirectly related to the booking affected by the flight time change. You can change your flight but there is a £45 admin fee for doing this .

Depending on how far away you live do have a friend that you could ask to take you if you pay the petrol and any drop off charges ?

Alternatively can you take the last train/bus the evening before and wait at the airport until check in ( I’m guessing that will be around 4/5am) ? Probably not ideal but if you can’t afford the taxi it may be an option worth considering.
