Digital voice

I am waiting for my ISP to provide a Digital Voice service together with FTTP.
I understand that there are four ways of connecting to the service:
[1] plug a 'phone into a router port; or
[2] connect a DECT 'phone to the router wirelessly; or
[3] connect a VOIP 'phone to the router wirelessly; or
[4] download an Android app and connect using that.
The ISP does not provide telephone instruments.
Would there be a voice quality difference between [2] and [3]?
What wireless protocol does a VOIP phone use to connect to a router?

I have osteoarthritis in my hands so I speak my messages into a microphone using Dragon. Some people make "typos" but I often make "speakos".

1-4 all should have the same quality. We use VOIPFone and have done for years and there is no notable difference between 2-4 (sub apple for android). As not provided for by our ISP option 1 isnt open but 2-4 are equal, if not better to option 0 of using a landline.
Please, do you know whether each of my three DECT handsets need to be separately connected or does one DECT 'phone still act as a base station for the others?
