2nd account for switching

I have two accounts with Halifax, one is a rewards account the other is a current account. I’m thinking of using my current account for a switching incentive with another bank. If I do this, will the switching bank just close my current account with Halifax or will they close the whole of the Halifax account which includes my separate rewards account?

They will only close the account with the account number and sort code you request to be switched.
