Has anyone with an EDF E7 fixed tariff been contacted about their new rates under the EPG
Hello all.
Hopefully someone will be able to advise.
I fixed with EDF for two years in May 2022 on an electricity only E7 tariff. My usage is 6617 kWh per year with 80% night 20% day split. I'm in London.
Current fixed tariff is
Day: 39.97
Night: 21.09
SC: 32.23
SVR under Energy Price Guarantee
Day: 44.82
Night: 15.94
SC: 33.25
I currently pay £147 per month. However, I've worked out that I would only pay £130 under the new SVR. I've spoken to EDF who confirmed that it looks like my fixed tariff is over the EPG and they would contact me about this. However, I have heard nothing, and they cannot give me a timeframe for contacting me.
They did tell me that I could move to the SVR without penalty (until November), but I am reluctant to do this until I have had confirmation of the new fixed rates. However, I am conscious that I could be paying more than I need to while waiting for EDF to get their finger out.
Is my thinking right that my current fixed rate is due a reduction? And has anyone in a similar situation had any contact about a reduction in their fixed rate from EDF?
Thanks in advance.

Your rate comes out with a cap equivalent of 32.04p
The SVT rate comes out with a cap equivalent of 32.69p
I think your rate is under the cap and will not get a discount,3 -
