Selling Freezer to Landlord

Hi,
I'm about to move from a rented property to another. The one I'm in came with a fridge but no freezer, so I bought my own. The one I'm moving to doesn't have either.
I was wondering if I could ask the landlord if they want to buy my freezer (it's 1 year old) and then I'd buy a fridge freezer for my new home. Is that considered rude?

No, that wouldn't be considered rude. But I wouldn't expect them to pay much for it.

It's unlikely your landlord will want it as most landlords leave minimum white goods in rental properties. You might get lucky but make sure you have a plan B.

I'm always being offered items by outgoing tenants.....I rarely buy anything offered.

But put it in eBay and Facebook marketplace also.  You really don't want to have to shift it.
