Hey guys, wondered if you can help.
Incorrectly issued a ticket by parking eye as cameras were on during an event that should have been off. The hotel confirmed that no parking tickets should be issued.
1. Parked in a hotel car park for an event on 31st of August was sent letter which was sent to wrong address at first.
4. Called hotel when I got letter, hotel said it was not valid as when events are on cameras should not be on and they will cancel for me - manager called parking eye. I emailed over letters to hotel.
5. Hotel contacted parking eye 3 x and all ignored.
6. Got a county court warning letter today.
7. Hotel emailed parking eye again CC me in saying to cancel this ticket immediately.
8. Tried to appeal today - ERROR on website!
During this time I had problems with my vision so unable to read any letters and in the hospital for eye problems (no vision).
Very distressing for me and wondered any advice you can give? Do I write to parkingeye?
They have sent all these strange forms about my personal financial situation. Thanks so much.
Feel bullied and distressed for something that I have not even done wrong :-(

The NEWBIES thread already covers this stage in the second post, where it gives you the email address to use for ParkingEye's litigation team. If you have a LBCCC then just email your appeal to that team (please read the NEWBIES thread section on ParkingEye LBCCCs).
State that the Hotel has more than once requested this PCN be cancelled because there is no commercial justification behind it, given that an event was taking place and the cameras should have been off.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:

Go back to the PE website as if to pay the parking charge (obviously don't!) and check on its current status. It may be that it's been cancelled now. Generally speaking, PE cancel tickets when ordered to do so by the landowner. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
