Ebay temporarily suspended my account and removed all the listings which is good. I'm in the process of getting my account back.
What is strange is how someone even got my password? I didn't even go on any phising sites !!!
Anyway got my account back.0 -

Yes, I keep my PC update to date with all the latest patches and scan for those on a regular basis.

Is there anyway to find out the IP address of who listed all those dodgy items using my account? Would ebay tell me?0

Unlikely. No harm in asking though.
Another thought... these days people are mining sites like Facebook for clues to people's passwords. My TV is broken!

Once you get control of your a/c get the password changed with a password generator like the one in roboform.0

Sadly it seems to be getting common and frivolous_fay has a good point about facebook and the likes I have heard this before on radio that these low lifes are looking for clues on people to hack into there accounts. Personnel if they catch these cretins I know what I would like to have done to them, it involves a line of cretins and a gun

Hope not to much damage has been done time to get those important a/c changed just in case.
I keep important passwords in a text file and encrypted at strongest encryption in a zip file just in case. Better save that sorry.0
