Hi all,
Something really needs to be done about Shells DD.
I got an email today along with many others saying my DD is going up to £158 from £125. My monthly bill (both gas/ electric) is around £95 mark (last year was £74 odd).
As you can see on screen shots with the GEBSS means its £29.41 ish month...
I'm then paying £128.59 for what? Another 5 more months of it being around £30-£40 then being in credit by £800 ish.
Many Thanks

I've found Shell Energy is hopeless at estimating the correct DD amount. You can pay your actual bill monthly by DD if you prefer. Means you pay more in Winter than Summer ofcourse. The tariff is the same.0

I was thinking to do that, but after the recent DD increase I'm now going ahead and doing that.fonesaver said:I've found Shell Energy is hopeless at estimating the correct DD amount. I just feel for a lot of other people who are going to be a worse spot and have far too much money taken out than they truly need.0 -
I would expect your October bill to be double that of September. November could be another 60%, December/ 3 x September#2 Saving for Christmas 2024 - £1 a day challenge. £325 of £3660

It shouldn't be. Both my partner and myself work 60+hrs and hardly at home, don't need to turn heating on as in middle flat.JGB1955 said:I would expect your October bill to be double that of September. November could be another 60%, December/ 3 x September
If anything i would see £10-£20 increase till feb...0 -
Have you tried logging in to your account and adjusting it there? Alot more flexibility on what you pay.
