Hi, does anyone know when you have two different energy suppliers - Utilita for electricity and British Gas for gas - both on prepaid meters can the voucher be split? My mum received her first voucher but it came from Utilita so assumed could only be used for electricity but it’s gas that’s the main concern.

Probably - ask in the shop when using the voucher, they really just convert them to cash from the till anyway.
Or use the cash that would have gone on electricity on the gas key instead (although I accept that it might be a massively different amount).1 -
Yes it can be split. The voucher is counted out in cash before being applied to the key(s). You could even apply it to someone else's key.

So it could be used with non-E.ON keys exactly as described. Good to know.bestgardenshed said:Father in law has pp meters eon for electric and british gas for gas , topped up with eon voucher today , voucher letter says can be used with non eon next keys / cards , had to advise post office who said they had been told otherwise, needed recent eon utility bill as id, they processed eon voucher took money out of till then i gave them gas card on which they credited £660
