Price difference?

Hi im currently on a smart meter with edf for Eletric Would I be better going direct debit or stay prepayment would the price be the same with the energy crisis

    It's very hard for people to advise when they have next to no information.
    What tariff exactly are you on & in which supply region? 
    If you are on E7 can you give your day/night breakdown as well.

    With EDF their unit price is cheaper on PAYG than any other payment method. The daily standing charge is slightly higher so depending on how many kWh you use per day on average would depend on which is cheaper
