So my September electric account balance is nil with the grant
Eon are taking a DDM of £10
My weekly bill is £12
My Gas account is in credit by £45 and £90 DDM is going on tiday so my credit balance will be £135, I've just had a £100 refund
My weekly bill is £12.50 with 75% heating useage
Why am I lending Eon money?
I want a monthly to pay on demand now

Nothing stopping you.
But equally, why should they let you use the energy before you’ve paid for it?2 -

I've been asking for 3 weeks, they don't seem keen on the idea0

Yeah but you don't eat / use your shopping until you've paid for them.maxmycardagain said:

Extremely difficult to compare physical goods and on-demand energy supply anyway.3 -
Try telling Tesco that you want a bill for the food that you’ve actually eaten at the end of each month and see how far that gets you.maxmycardagain said:

This relates to about £9 gas and £3.50 standing charge with the heating on..

Ok then, cancel your DD and switch to pay-on-receipt-of-bill.

I prefer pay on receipt of bill, it means money stays in your own account and you gain interest on your own money.QrizB said:maxmycardagain said:

I had the problem with my energy company, even though I had plenty of credit in the account, where they, without my knowledge, we’re about to help themselves from my bank account and take £117 out. They did not send any e Mail or letter to say they were going to do this beforehand. I therefore cancelled both direct debits and pay each month.I feel they cannot be trusted with customers money.0
