NatWest Switch Joint Account

Does anyone know if it is possible to switch a joint account to NatWest and receive the £175 switching bonus?
Trying to go through the process on the NatWest website, it seems that if you want a joint account, you first have to open a sole account and then add another person to it. It is not possible to switch a joint account to a sole account. So there does not seem to be a route to qualify for the switching bonus if you have a joint account.

I have a similar question. I have a joint account with TSB and am looking to switch it. keeping it as a joint account to Nat West. does anyone know if this is straightforward online and if I would get the £175 bonus.

Still working my way through this, but I think the route is:
1) Open sole account
2) Add second person to convert it to a joint account
3) Then switch the old account into the new one.0 -
Thanks. It shouldn’t have to be so difficult should it. It’s not essential we have a joint account so might be easier to change TSB to sole then switch.0
