Does anyone know if the new energy price cap price of 34p per Kw/h for electricity and 10.3p Kwh for gas, and the standing charges of 46p and 28p per day already include VAT @ 5% ?

    Yes they do.
But don't forget that individual supplier prices may differ, and the same supplier in different areas may also differ slightly.
For example, it could be 33.73p/kWh, 49.15p/day.
