Hi everyone,
TA, I was going to suggest getting a double sized quilt for your bed, plenty to cover you but not such a struggle.
I'm still feeling a bit icky but better than yesterday. I managed to take Ziggypup out yesterday afternoon and then made mac'n'cheese for dinner. Tonight Brian is going to make bangers and mash so a night off for me. Steve is still coughing away but a bit less I think so hopefully the antibiotics are working. We're supposed to be going to a quiz tomorrow night but will make the decision whether we are recovered enough - don't want to infect anyone there.
Esben has gone to nursery but was a bit upset because Laura wouldn't let him wear his new red boots (his spiderman boots as he calls them), things tend to come back from nursery a bit the worse for wear so she's sent him in his older shoes. We've had a quick tidy round before the cleaner comes as well so we can relax for the rest of the day.
Have a good day.9 -
Morning
Early morning plumber visit today so I'm fully serviced for the year......oooh er!! Always good to know its ok though. Meter box man came yesterday too so maybe my bad run with tradesmen is on the turn.
Asda due any minute with only one sub a different packet of biscuits half the price and very acceptable.
House tidying is happening way to slowly for me. Need to do a plan really as I do tend to stick to good old to do list
Nothing exciting happening here today
TA I have ongoing struggles with duvets particularly the winter one. My summer one I didn't even bother putting a cover on as it was so light and thin I could wash it easily the winter one though is thick and far too big for my washing machine. I think there is definitely room for a local business that pops round and sorts the bedding for you.
Hope you all have a pleasant day x10 -
Right, bed stripped and remade and I have just told myself that is the very last time I will struggle with a SK duvet!! TAFF my DD uses that method with her double duvet (as do I when at the van) but she agrees it's not so simple tussling with a SK, especially when you are diddy like me! NELS I agree I think that would be a lucrative business for somebody!
I think it could have been ROSY who once said she struggled the same and now has 2 single duvets on instead. So I have decided it will be more MSE to replace the SK with 2 singles and new bed linen rather than replace the bed! Why has it taken me this long to decide!"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"9 -
