Look, we were cash buyers too. It doesn’t make that much difference as you still have to go through conveyancers. The market has really changed. I completed on my dream house on 5th September and I still love it.

Never get a vendor to fix anything. You won't have a contract with whoever does the work, there may well be a bodge and many vendors won't want the hassle anyway.htcclub said:Now, I will have some specialist surveys done, if these flag over 5k of work, should I ask vendor to fix this prior to exchange? so that I don't need a new mortgage offer
