And life isn't just about living as cheaply as possible. We are allowed to have luxuries ... I use the dishwasher because I don't want to do the washing up by hand. Whether it is a little more or less cost is largely irrelevant to many people. Yes, this is MSE, but time is also money. And time can also be happiness.

It is listed in his itinerary/contract so he emailed the other occupants to tell them. Landlord found out and issued him a section 21.0

Remind him that an S21 does not end a tenancy, so he can take the time he needs to get a new place. But he'd need to give the correct notice if he stays one day beyond the date of the S21.
Also refer him to the sticky on here and check all the requirements for the issuing of S21 notices, as an awful lot are invalid. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing2 -
boiling a kettle a couple of times a day uses more energy than a dishwasher.FreeBear said:user1977 said: Dishwashers are more efficient than washing by hand...Are they ?I boil about 1.5l of water, and add another litre of cold when I do my washing up, but then there are only two of us... Maybe for a household of 6, it may work out more economical.0 -

0.2-0.25KWh each time I boil a kettle for washing up. And yes, I record my electricity usage and can plot usage to the (30) second.TheJP said:

Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –
