10 days later I receive a £60 fineYou did not receive a fine, it's an invoice
This seems very unfair. I paid for parking, was it would of been an honest mistake.Of course it's unfair that's the way scamming companies operate they want people to make mistakes it's the only way they make money
I went on JustAnswer and the legal advice is POPLA will likely rule against me as they would technically be right that I did not park legally if I wasn't registered second day.Waste of time they gave bad advice and you parked quite legally you just made a mistake and transgressed one of their made up rules allegedly
I am sending this to the parking company;Ibis have me on CCTV entering my registration upon check in.OF course they don't CCTV at best is a fuzzy distant image this isn't a James Bond film! From my logged conversation with the receptionist at ibis, I was informed that I could enter and leave the car at will and was not told I have to enter my details again. How was this conversation "logged" were you wired? The amount you have charged is not based upon any commercially justifiable loss to your company or the landowner, given I stayed at the hotel and IbisThat argument went out of the window with Barry Bevis!King RegardsWhy did you wish a nasty twisted scamming company that want to take as much money off you with the minimum effort kind regards
I would be hugely grateful for any advice or assistance. ThanksYou are dealing with scammers that only make money issuing parking invoices to victims, they have an office manned by people laughing at this type of letter if they even bother to read them.Follow the advice on here the regulars have been fighting these idiots for years and know what they are doing.Plan A is always the first route, this is an IBIS made problem they engaged a nasty parking company to scam people at no cost to them selves it's not your fault if the procedure is set up to catch you out.
